It is said that all the holy commitments undertaken during adhika maasa bear adhika phala (special fruits/gain). So, on the auspicious occasion of Adhika Badhrapada i.e. 18th August to 16th September, many special functions have been arranged in the temple.
SPECIAL EVENTS HELD EVERYDAY
Devotees gather in large numbers in the morning & soon after the suprabhatha, at 6.30 AM, Sri Vishnu Sahasranama & Sri Venkatesha Stotras are chanted in unison.

After that, all devotees walk together chanting Ramnam and take 5 rounds around the temple.
In the evening, at 5.30 PM, Ramnam is chanted by the devotees at Chandrashaala. It is said that about a century ago, the devotees have witnessed Lord Ram, Seetha and Laxman walking before them in the Chandrashaala. This indicates the intensity of holiness of the place.
