I want to set up some amount so that every year some brahmins can be given food on my mothers death anniversary who just passed away on December 23rd 2017. We already have this same arrangement done for my Father and Grandparents also. Please advise.
Dear Jyothi Shenoy,
Kindly contact Seetaram Prabhu(paatali of temple) on +918258-230311 to know how to go about this.
A Google search reveals two websites related to the temple, viz. the present website (padutirupathi.in) and another, viz. svtkarkala.org.
Are both these websites official websites ? Please clarify.

padutirupathi.in is a website voluntarily developed 5 years back by few of the devotees of Lord to help people know about the activities of temple specially for those who physically stay away from the town and are eager to know about the events happenings in the temple.
Recently temple management has launched the new website svtkarkala.org(official). The intention of the both the teams is to keep Dhani’s priya-devoteess known of the developments happening in the temple and other allied events. We share the same motto. The Vaibhava and Karnika of our temple is so much that even 10 more teams working on it will have an ocean to EXPRESS and EXPLORE. That is his greatness !!!!
Shree Srinivasaya namaha.
Dear Shenoy maam,
As per records Karkal Devasthan has been in existence for almost 500+ years. Just wanted to know if the temple has archives of residents of karkala town for the last so many years. I would be particularly interested in the archives.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi Rajesh mamm,
I don’t think that the temple would maintain the archives of all GSB’s of Karkala. But they will have the archive of all Vaidikas i.e Joishi, Puranik , Thantri families and the temple management(i.e trusties, Kamathi, Prabhu family and Patali families).
I hope, I have answered your question.
Please let me know if you need to know anything specifically.
