It is the devine birth of the Lord Shri Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. On the day of Krishna Janmashtami the Lord Shri Venkataramana will be seated on the silver Sheshavahana and there will be Panchamratha Abhisheka for the Saligrama and this year the Abhisheka got started at around 9 PM. This is followed by the offer of Tulasidala to the Lord. Devotees sat on the Chandra Saale to offer Tulasidala in Thousands and reciting the divine “sri Vishnu Sahasra namavali” by Sri Ani joishy.
